Let the story begin:
One evening, a husband and wife got into a heated argument — nothing new for couples who’ve memorized each other’s favorite buttons to press.
After the verbal wrestling match, the wife stormed into the bedroom with the intensity of a Marvel superhero.
Moments later, the husband entered, expecting maybe a bit of sulking or a cold shoulder.
Instead, he walked into a scene straight out of a travel drama.
There she was — suitcase open, clothes flying, shoes being launched like missiles — packing with dramatic flair. 🧳
He blinked. “You’re packing? Where are you going?”
She shot back, “To my mother!”
The man paused. Deep breath. Maybe he counted to ten. Maybe he prayed for WiFi signal and a miracle.
But instead of apologizing or engaging further, he calmly walked to the closet, pulled out his big brown leather suitcase — the kind you don’t bring out unless the trip is serious — and started packing too.
This time, she blinked. “You’re packing? Where are YOU going?”
He zipped up a pair of jeans, looked her square in the eye and said, “To MY mother.”
And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more ridiculous, reality slapped them both in the face — in the form of six pairs of curious, confused eyes watching from the hallway.
Wife: “What about the six children? Who’s going to look after them?!”
Without missing a beat, the man dropped the punchline of the year:
“You’re going to your mother. I’m going to my mother. The six children should go to THEIR mother.”
💥 Equation balanced.
🎤 Class dismissed.
Moral of the Story?
Sometimes in marriage, the math is emotional.
1 frustrated husband + 1 determined wife + 6 innocent kids = a comedy of logic no calculator can solve.
But at the end of the day, love often means unpacking more than just suitcases — it means unpacking pride, egos, and assumptions, too. And if you’re lucky, the only thing you’ll be packing together is a picnic basket.
