A couple had been married for 25 years, and whenever people asked about their secret, they proudly declared, “We’ve never had a single argument in our entire marriage!”
Of course, friends were stunned. “Come on, that’s impossible. How can two people live together for 25 years without fighting?”
The husband smiled and said, “Well, let me tell you how it all began.”
He explained:
“On our honeymoon, we went to a ranch where my wife and I decided to go horseback riding. Everything was fine until suddenly, her horse bucked and threw her off. She got up slowly, dusted herself off, looked at the horse calmly, and said, ‘That’s your first time.’
We carried on, but just a short while later, the horse threw her off again. She stood up once more, brushed off her clothes, looked at the horse, and said, ‘That’s your second time.’
Now, when the horse threw her for the third time, she quietly reached into her bag, pulled out a gun, and shot the horse dead right there in front of me!
I was horrified. I shouted, ‘What on earth did you just do? That poor horse didn’t deserve to die!’
