Marriage is never easy. It’s a journey filled with love, laughter, and sometimes a few bumps along the way. After many years together, couples often collect memories, habits, and yes—plenty of arguments too.
Some problems get solved, while others just pile up. But no matter how tough things get, humor always has a way of sneaking back in and reminding us that life doesn’t have to be so serious.
Today’s story is the perfect example—it shows how even in the middle of a serious situation, laughter can still win. So sit back, relax, and enjoy this one!
After 35 years of marriage, a husband and wife were worn out from constant bickering. They loved each other, but they couldn’t seem to stop fighting. Hoping to fix things, they finally went to see a marriage therapist.
The moment they sat down, the wife burst out with all her complaints. She listed every mistake her husband had ever made, her voice full of frustration. The poor husband sat there in silence, looking more and more uncomfortable.
The therapist listened patiently. Then he stood up, walked over to the wife, gently helped her to her feet, and gave her a warm hug followed by a passionate kiss. She was shocked at first but quickly softened. When she sat back down, she looked calmer and even had a faint smile.
Turning to the husband, the therapist said,
“This is what your wife needs—three times every week. Do you think you can manage that?”
The husband sat back, thought for a while, and finally replied:
“Sure… I can bring her in on Mondays and Wednesdays.
But Fridays—I go fishing.”😅😂🤣
😂 And that right there shows the secret to a long marriage—compromise! The wife gets the attention she craves, and the husband still gets his fishing trips. In the end, both win in their own way. Maybe love really is about finding the right balance… and saving Fridays for fishing!
