When it comes to family life, Kristina Ozturk and her husband, Turkish businessman Galip Ozturk, have taken things to a level few could ever imagine.

At just 26 years old, Kristina is already the mother of 22 children, making headlines worldwide for her extraordinary journey into motherhood.

A Family Like No Other

Originally from Russia and now living in Batumi, Georgia, Kristina became a mom to her first daughter, Victoria, in her late teens. But it was after meeting Galip that their family truly expanded—at lightning speed.

Between March 2020 and July 2021, the couple welcomed 21 more children through surrogacy, spending millions on medical costs, surrogacy fees, and live-in caregivers. Reports suggest they invested more than $1.6 million to make their dream a reality, with each child’s birth costing around $9,000 to $10,000.

Today, all 22 children are under the age of seven, and the Ozturks employ a team of 16 full-time nannies to keep up with the chaos of round-the-clock bottles, meals, and playtime.

Big Dreams, Big Numbers

What makes the Ozturks even more unique is their public declaration that they hope to raise 105 children in total—a number that Kristina says has a special cultural meaning in Russia. While the plan is reportedly on pause for now, the couple’s vision has sparked global debates about the ethics and practicality of building such a massive family in this way.

Admiration and Controversy

Not surprisingly, the story of Kristina and Galip has stirred both fascination and criticism. Supporters admire their dedication and resources, while critics question whether children raised mostly by caregivers can truly get the attention they need.

Regardless of the debate, one thing is clear: the Ozturks have redefined what it means to have a “big family,” and the world is watching closely to see what comes next.

Moral
Love them or question them, Kristina and Galip Ozturk’s unusual family journey has everyone talking. Could their dream of 105 children ever become reality? Only time will tell.
